Video of pro-government rally used as evidence for Libyan government’s crackdown on protesters

A recording that was shown by many TV channels as evidence for the Libyan government’s crackdown on protesters turns out to be a video of a pro-Gaddafi demonstration. It is unknown where the bullets came from.

One is reminded a lot of the shooting of protesters in the 11 April 2002 march in Caracas, which served as the basis of a failed coup d’état attempt to topple Hugo Chavez.
